This elegant set meets the World Chess Federation’s (FIDE) height, weight, and proportions standards for tournament play. The Walnut board measures 19 inch with 2 inch squares in dark brown and natural. The gracefully formed tournament pieces are solid Shesham and Kari wood in traditional Staunton style have a 3 3/4 inch king with a 1 3/8 inch base diameter. Felt bottoms make the weighted pieces glide across the beautiful board surface. The pieces have been made by expert craftsman and are hand polished.

Includes hinged wooden box for storage of the chessmen

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find.
