The Papo Minotaur is ready to do some damage in battle. The bull head with horns looks very fierce and intimidating, while the armor including the breastplate is detailed and realistic. The weapons - a dagger and a war hammer, are also detailed and well-made. The Minotaur's dark hair is nicely done and the brown and red armor give the figure a realistic look. One of few Minotaur figures currently available.
Minotaur Information:
The minotaur is a legendary creature from Greek mythology, said to be a hybrid of a man and a bull. He is most famously described as living in a labyrinth built by the legendary artificer Daedalus. The minotaur has featured in various works of literature and art, from the ancient Greeks to modern day.
The most popular story of the minotaur tells of the Athenian king, Minos, who prayed to Poseidon for a bull to sacrifice to him. Poseidon agreed, and sent him a beautiful white bull. Minos, however, refused to sacrifice the bull and kept it for himself. In punishment, Poseidon caused Minos' wife, Pasiphae, to fall in love with the bull, and from their union the minotaur was born.
The minotaur was said to be a giant, with the body of a man and the head and horns of a bull. He was said to be a fierce and savage creature, a danger to all who encountered him. As a result, Minos had the minotaur imprisoned in the labyrinth, where it could not hurt anyone.

EXPEDITED SERVICE: Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit
Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged. In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material. Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.
