In a sport where top sires seem to get all the accolades, mare Ebony Shines has rightfully taken her place alongside them. Sired by the legendary stallion Shining Spark and out of Ebony Whiz, a Topsail Whiz daughter, the 1999 Quarter Horse has become one of the most famous Western performance broodmares. Bred by Bob Loomis and now owned by Roseann Sternberg, she had a brief show career but her true calling has been producing champion offspring.
In 2016, Ebony Shines was Inducted into the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Hall of Fame. Two years later, the stunning palomino became the NRHA’s first ever “One Million Dollar Dam.” Ebony Shines’ offspring have amassed $1.2 million in earnings as of 2021, and have earned titles like NRHA Open World Champion, AQHA Select Amateur World Champion, and NRHA Open Futurity Co-Champion.
With Ebony Shines is her 2021 palomino filly Charlize. With her incredible bloodlines, we have no doubt that big things are in store for Charlize in the future!

Oversize or additional shipping charges may apply to some items due to their size and weight, regardless of the purchase amount. Customers will be advised shipping costs for orders going outside the continental USA for customer approval.
Shipping Methods
STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.
EXPEDITED SERVICE: Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..
Estimated Delivery Times
We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.
Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by any carrier, so please place time-sensitive orders in advance.
Items Lost or Damaged in Transit
Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged. In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material. Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.
