Description

The HEX BOTS Tarantula is the new eight-legged robotic creature that is an electromechanical marvel. The Tarantula features a large motor for even faster crawling, 360-degree steering, a glowing LED eye, and two-channel user selectable infrared remote control. The IR remote has rechargeable batteries and enables the user to operate multiple bugs independently or at the same time (each sold separately). As the largest member of the HEX BOTS mechanical family, the complexity of its internal mechanisms and eight-legged crawling motion is simply fascinating to both operate and watch. HEX BOTS creatures are the perfect toys for boys age 6-8 who love to build and play with robots! Oversize or additional shipping charges may apply to some items due to their size and weight, regardless of the purchase amount. Customers will be advised shipping costs for orders going outside the continental USA for customer approval.

Shipping Methods

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Estimated Delivery Times

We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by any carrier, so please place time-sensitive orders in advance.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

PICK-UP

We offer pick-up at both our Southampton store and our East Hampton store. Please indicate at checkout where you would like to pick up your item(s) or call us at 631-283-2111.

"Stevenson’s Toys is a shining example of why we all should support small businesses. They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions. The owner himself called me a short while later to confirming shipping costs with UPS. When I didn’t receive a tracking number I reached out and they got it to me right away.
