Chinchillas are fluffy, thick-furred rodents found in the Andes Mountains of South America. Though they make popular pets, they are endangered in the wild. They live at very high elevations, up to 14,000 feet above sea level.

  • Scientific Name: Genus Chinchilla
  • Characteristics: This Chinchilla figure accurately represents the unique qualities of the animal, including its large ears, dense fur coat, fluffy tail and tiny paws.
  • Size and Color: The Chinchilla figure measures 5 ¼ inches long from its outstretched paw to its curved tail. It is hand-painted in various tones of gray, darker above and lighter below, with black eyes and pink accents on its ears, nose, mouth and paws.

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Estimated Delivery Times

We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by any carrier, so please place time-sensitive orders in advance.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

"Stevenson’s Toys is a shining example of why we all should support small businesses. They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions. The owner himself called me a short while later to confirming shipping costs with UPS. When I didn’t receive a tracking number I reached out and they got it to me right away.
