Scorpions are easily identified by their segmented tail tipped with a venomous stinger and their prominent claws. Like spiders, they are arachnids and have eight legs. Despite their fearsome reputation, only 25 of the roughly 1700 species of scorpion are considered dangerous to humans.

  • Characteristics: This hand-painted scorpion figure features true to life details, plus bendable claws and tail so you can pose it in any way you desire! Despite its menacing claws and stinger-tipped tail, this figure won’t pinch or sting you!
  • Size and Color:  The scorpion is about 7 ½ inches long with its tail fully extended, and 3 ½ inches wide. It’s about as wide as a deck of cards and slightly longer than the width of a standard sheet of notebook paper. It features new and improved paint detail including a dark brown carapace with medium brown legs, claws and tail. The tips of its feet and its underside are a light brown, and its tail features black accents with a dark brown stinger tip. Its eyes, located on the top and front of its head, are black.

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find.
