Giraffe adults might be the tallest animals around, but baby giraffes are no slouches – they can be up to 7 feet tall and weigh almost 250 pounds. This baby giraffe figure makes a perfect companion for Safari Limited's adult giraffe.

  • History: While adult giraffes have very few natural predators, newborns are still dependent on their mothers for protection. Female giraffes will form something called a "nursery herd", surrounding the young as they move from place to place. Giraffes have even been known to babysit the calves of others in the herd!
  • Scientific Name: Giraffa camelopardalis
  • Characteristics: Young giraffes look much like adults, only smaller: same long neck, same distinctive fur color pattern, and the same skin-covered knobs on the top of their heads called "ossicones". This hand-painted figurine is excellent for educational purposes, play, or display in a collection.
  • Size: 2.9 inches long and 3.5 inches tall, Safari Limited's giraffe baby figurine is a touch bigger than a deck of cards stood upright.

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Estimated Delivery Times

We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by any carrier, so please place time-sensitive orders in advance.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

We offer pick-up at both our Southampton store and our East Hampton store. Please indicate at checkout where you would like to pick up your item(s) or call us at 631-283-2111.

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions.
