The Eagle Owl is among the largest owl species, with a wingspan of over 6 feet. These owls are distributed across a wide range of varied habitats across Europe and Asia. Like their American cousins the horned owls, they are known for their pointed ear tufts.



  • History:

    Also known as the European Eagle Owl and the Eurasian Eagle Owl, this bird is often simply referred to as the Eagle Owl. It is often called the largest of the owls, though it has some competition from the Great Gray Owl (which has a longer body) and Blakiston's Fish Owl (which is heavier).

    This owl enjoys a widespread distribution across the continents of Europe and Asia, and 14 subspecies are currently recognized.
  • Scientific Name: Bubo bubo
  • Characteristics: This Eagle Owl is turning its head to have a look at something behind it. Owls can turn their heads up to 270 degrees, a remarkable flexibility that makes them unique amongs birds.
  • Size: This Eagle Owl toy is 3 inches long and just over 2 inches tall, roughly the size of a credit card.
  • The Eagle Owl is part of the Wings of the World Birds collection

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

"Stevenson’s Toys is a shining example of why we all should support small businesses. They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions. The owner himself called me a short while later to confirming shipping costs with UPS. When I didn’t receive a tracking number I reached out and they got it to me right away.
