The odd-looking Mandrill is found in tropical African rainforests. The vibrant coloration on its hairless face is to help males attract females. Larger Mandrills with brighter coloration will be the most dominant in the horde (the term for a large group of Mandrills).

  • History: Mandrills are the heaviest monkey species, with large examples weighing over 100 lbs. They live in very large groups (called hordes) in the rainforests of Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Congo. They are considered "Vulnerable" by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and are threatened by habitat destruction and deforestation, as well as being hunted for their meat.
  • Scientific Name: Mandrillus sphinx
  • Characteristics: This male Mandrill figure is posed in a mid-walking stance. Its bright colors are on full display and its features – from its distinctive facial ridges to its fur coat, are reproduced in exacting detail.
  • Size: The Mandrill is about 3 ¾ inches long and just under 3 inches tall, a little bit bigger than a standard paper sticky note.
  • The Mandrill is part of the Wild Safari® Wildlife collection
  • All of Safari Limited's products are Non-toxic and BPA free.

STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions.
