Slithering through the dusty sand, this impressive cobra has its fangs bared! Due to their powerful neurotoxic venom, the bite from a hooded cobra can be fatal to humans. Did you know that some cobras can even spit venom from their fangs?

  • History: The largest of all venomous snakes, cobras can grow up to 18 feet long (in the case of the King Cobra), though those of the genus Naja are much smaller at around 6 feet. Their hood is actually a controllable elongation of their neck ribs that they use to appear larger when they feel threatened. Interestingly, cobras are very vital to the medical field, because research of their venom has produced treatment for the bites of many different snake species.

    STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

    EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

    Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find.
